Our event is a better ball Stableford played off 90% of the course handicap.
This means each golfer plays their own ball, and the better score from the two on each hole counts towards the team’s total.

All our events are run in line with the new World Handicapping System.
To qualify for prizes, competitors must have a WHS handicap index which will be used to determine playing handicap for the competition.

Tee times are released 1-2 weeks before the event. Once they are released we will notify you by email. It is not possible to change your allotted tee-time.

Prizes will be awarded once we’ve checked handicaps.

Yes - we are inclusive - all are welcome.

The maximum Handicap Index for men is: 

15.8 and for 

Ladies 31.4 is the maximum.

We have CDH access and check all handicaps. We are asking all golfers to take photo ID with them on the day so we can link name and photo. Any specially good scores we contact golf clubs directly to check on the status of handicaps.

Yes we permit juniors with an active WHS handicap and who are over 14 years old who are accompanied by an adult. We get a number of parent/child partnerships at our events.

If we cancel the event, you will be offered full credit or a refund.
If we reschedule the event you will be offered at place the rescheduled event or a full credit.
If you withdraw from the event refunds are based on the amount paid and dates are taken from the first day of the competition.
90 days+ prior to comp starting – Full refund minus £20.
61-90 days before the comp – 75% refund.
31-60 Days — 50% refund.
We do not offer any refunds for cancellations made within 30 days of the competition.

Mandatory pick up when not scoring. Penalties in place for not keeping up with the group in front, marshals on the course, starter on the course managing first tee are some of the things we do, but we rely on every golfer to act responsibly and be ready to play.

Participants will be notified if any given club requires anything specific.

Buggies and caddies may be used but must be booked directly through the club.

No - all putts must be holed out.
